My 2006 Mustang was totaled by a driver making an illegal turn. I bought the salvage from the insurance company and started searching for a door and fender.
Found a 2009 replacement door but the power windows and doors didn't work. I had to replace the wiring harness with the 2006.
Found the only black mustang fender in all of North Carolina!
New door and fender installed.
Replicated the Transformers movie car for a car show back in Detroit.
Next I found a 1969 Chevelle 396 big block 4 speed that needed some love.
Interior needed to be completely gutted.
I learned how to install carpet and the console.
Found replacement foam and leather and learned how to reupholster seats.
Painted the car and added a vinyl top to complete the restoration.
Next up, 1977 Chevy C10 pickup truck.
First step was to purchase a crate engine and learn how to do my first motor replacement.
Also needed to replace the transmission and rear end so I kept going.
The new motor sure looked nice and ran even better.
Moved on to the interior. Like the Chevelle, it needed to be completely gutted.
New interior looks like it just rolled off the factory floor.
Painted the truck with a classic blue and white color scheme.
